Lion Mane

Thanks for the prompt comments, Ee Ping and Pin Yin, my regular and consistent and reliable 2 soon to be ex students.
Do you study at all, I mean, you gals are spending so much time online...
Anyway, I like 2 guys who made an impression on me with their hair style and their carefree and confident nature. The first guy was the Japanese ex Prime minister, Koizumi, who is a divorcee and travels with his daughter everywhere he goes when he was the Prime Minister of Japan. I like the way he stood up to China and the rest of the world and even his own people who condemn him for his actions and beliefs. Anyway his hairstyle alone will tell you he is a carefree, confident, no nonsence and will do it HIS way.
The second guy was our former ex Law Minister, Dato Zaid Ibrahim.
He is the only and dare I say the ONLY one so far who dare to resign over his own beliefs and conviction. The rest are all "cylindrical plural less" (ballsless) people who are all ass polisher. He too has the hair style I like. Ee Ping, it's like a lion's mane and not Beatles style, ok
cheers
Happy Holidays and happy studying and enjoy what is left of it anyway

Pink Dots or Green Dots

Well well well
Is this a series of pink dots or green dot or no dots
Try this
1. Follow the movement of the dots and you will get it to be green
2. Look into + and the movement will change to green and look longer and the dots will disappear.
Try it
Happy holidays and will try to update
cheers

Monday Assembly

Got a good laugh when a lower six girl prefect (Wong Yi Ling) forgot to raise the national flag and just stood there rigid and erect and stiff until she was reminded by the Principal to do her job.
Then got another laugh when she defended her actions in the Ed Board room......
Yi Ling, just do your job and if you forgot, then just say so. No excuses......
Anyway she was flustered to say the least when everyone reminded her of her folly.....
Now the question is, have you ever forgot to do your duty or job or assignment and claim ignorance?
cheers
I'm sure I have
Have a great day and holiday

I got lost on Merdeka day when I went to the wrong place to view the merdeka parade and all I got was empty streets in the Esplanade!!!
So Pin yin came to my rescue.
Then when I want to watch the Lantern Festival parade and so naturally I sms Pin yin and guess what???
She ask me to hold my own parade at home!!! Naughty girl
I need info sometimes and I'll still go to her as she is reliable

Bangkok and Shopping

There is a market 90km from Bangkok called Floating Bangkok Damn something market.
Fun and ride in a James Bond movie speed boat that travelled like a snail boat.....
Then a very slow boat ride and we can buy things from the market from a boat to a boat. Boat to boat marketing...
One of a kind and there is nothing like this in M'sia except maybe Kuching..

Siam Niramit cultural show ala Las Vegas with elaborate costumes was another of those shows that enchanted me.
Nothing hanky panky here except 20 million ringgit spent in producing it. Seems it would triple the cost if it is shown outside the country.

Shopping and shopping in Bangkok is cheap cheap
Bought socks that could last me a few years......branded MU, Crocodile etc
Some batik silk shirts to be worn on Thursday.... and some silk ties.....
cheap food and cheap massages....
Well, someone asked for trinkets from Bangkok and Lower 6 Arts 5 and Upper 6 Arts 3 got some.....
It pays to ask, eh?
cheers
Anyone wants to add regarding this kingdom of the elephant?

It's the holiday season but for the Form 3 boys, they must study and mug to score in their PMR
For the Upper 6, they must start if they want to score

What else is there in life other than scoring?
Christopher and Wilson will say scoring with the girls and the girls willsay scoring with the guys. Natural
Just don't score with the same sex....
Score in the exam ok guys and gals...
Looking forward to Prom Nite tomorrow too
Wow some of you will be in make up and so on and with paints all over your face....I think I won't recognize most of gals.

Pissed off by vertically challenged and immaterial guy

What can I say?
Someone with a vindictive agenda pissed me off today
He is so vertically challenged he is unnoticeable until he stands in front of you.
He has no charisma, no screen presence and no personality to speak off. He needs the mike to be heard. I once thought he was a parent and ignored him when I passed him by as he was so ordinary looking and so ordinary dressed until I found out he was the guest of honour to my surprised.
You will not notice him if he stand like 10 feet away
Yet he is an officer or mule in the education department kowtowing or carrying the 'balls' of certain people and victimising certain people.
So if you ask me, yes, I can understand how Ee Ping and gang felt when they said they were victimised.
I happened to be on the receiving end today....
Anyone want to share how they were being victimised or were victims of victimization themselves...
cheers

The Art of Feng Shui and The Hungry Ghost Festival

Scary subjects some might say
Well it's the month of the year in the Chinese lunar calendar where the gates of hell are open and the ghosts are out roaming the earth and the believers offering them joss sticks and candles and others to please them and for other reasons...
So how about it guys and girls?

Any input on how to behave this coming month of the Hungry ghost Festivals?
Philip Aw is supposed to come out with the Lower 6 Arts 5's class discussion on this issue. All 19 of them.
I think I'll ask Christopher Chong to come out with Upper 6 Arts 3's class discussion. Do you agree Amy and Ee Ping? Or do you want to do it?
As for 3A, I'll just have to ask Brandon or Barnabas to do it with Adriel.
Do you believe in it or just hearsay or do you experience it before.....
cheers

Life is Precious

A life was lost last Sunday morning. All due to someone carelessness....
Life is short.
We are all here for a reason. Find out what is your purpose in studying and in life
Go for it and be happy.
Choose to be happy and just do it.
That's why you will see me in a happy mood until I start scolding in class.
Anyway, don't worry if you have done your revision and homework. God helps those who help themselves.
cheers and be happy
Any comments class?

Anwar vs Shabery Cheek

It's here and was here and they did it.
The anticipation of it was killing us all
So it was a great time to see them do it and did it in full view of an audience albeit a partially paid audience...
So how did it go?
Anwar was in his element and Shabery was alas shabby and in shambles avoiding the issues altogether and going for personal attacks.
Frankly, I don't like Anwar from his University days and still don't but then he has mellowed down a lot.
But Shabby was like a sacrificial lamb offered to be slaughtered by Anwar...
What say you guys and girls?
cheers
Roger

MUET

Wow
MUET results is here and everyone is so engrossed in wanting to know their results
For your information, it's not the end of the world
There are still many more chances to score at least a Band 3

Cheers to Ee Ping who gets her Band 4. Everyone knows she can do it.
It's important to know you can all do it
cheers
I've students in the varsity who has Band 1 or 2 and still surviving very well and healthy in campus.....
So get your results whatever it is and get on with life
Go for Band 6

Homonyms and Plurality

Hi there
Here is the poem for discussion
cheers
Four All Who Reed and Right!
We'll begin with a box, and the plural is boxes;
but the plural of ox became oxen not oxes.
One fowl is a goose, but two are called geese,
yet the plural of moose should never be meese.
You may find a lone mouse or a nest full of mice;
yet the plural of house is houses, not hice.

If the plural of man is always called men,
why shouldn't the plural of pan be called pen?
If I spoke of my foot and show you my feet,
and I give you a boot, would a pair be called beet?
If one is a tooth and a whole set are teeth,
why shouldn't the plural of booth be called beeth?

Then one may be that, and three would be those,
yet hat in the plural would never be hose,
and the plural of cat is cats, not cose.
We speak of a brother and also of brethren,
but though we say mother, we never say methren.

Then the masculine pronouns are he, his and him,
but imagine the feminine, she, shis and shim.

Let's face it, English is a crazy language.
There is no egg in eggplant, nor ham in hamburger;
neither apple nor pine in pineapple.
English muffins weren't invented in England.

We take English for granted.
But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly,
boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea, nor is it a pig.
And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing,
grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham?
Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends, but not one amend?

If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?
If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught?
If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?

Sometimes, I think all the folks who grew up speaking English
should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane.
In what other language do people recite at a play and play at a recital?
Ship by truck and send cargo by ship?
Have noses that run and feet that smell?
How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same,
while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?

You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language
in which your house can burn up as it burns down;
in which you fill in a form by filling it out
and in which an alarm goes off by going on.

That's all folks
Any more homonym examples
cheers

Suicidal Tendencies

Interesting topic of discussion today in upper 6 Arts 3

The most interesting class thus far with a lot of colourful characters

Make sure you all stick together after STPM no matter what and have gatherings

Japan, India and our own locals Malaysia and their tendencies for suicides.

What do you think of the racial composition for suicides and the reasons plus the ways to curb suicides???

Masai Tribe

The Masai tribal people are found in the plains of Kenya and they like to mix the blood of the cows that they suck from their cows' neck with the cow's milk. So it's a mixture of milk and blood.
Then they drink it like we drink tea or coffee or water
It helps to keep them healthy and strong runners
Those Kenyans world class middle and long distance runners
